I’ve been to this place a few times now, and honestly, it never disappoints. The staff are always so lovely – they go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect, especially the food. We originally booked for 7:30, then changed it to 6:30, but ended up calling again to see if we could come a little later. They were so accommodating and let us come at 7:15, which was really appreciated.
We didn’t have to wait long at all for our table, and the service was spot on from start to finish. It was the twins’ birthday, and they even brought out two complimentary puddings – such a thoughtful touch that made the evening feel extra special.
The food? Absolutely incredible. I’ve never had a curry like it – so full of flavour, perfectly cooked, and genuinely one of the best meals I’ve had. Can’t recommend this place enough – already looking forward to...
Read moreFirst visit tonight and certainly not our last! Wow. The owner was fantastic, she knew exactly which dishes were able to be made vegan and which weren't and was very accommodating. The food itself was delicious - very fresh and well flavoured. Portion sizes were good, I had to have a take away box as was so full after my starter which was huge! We ended up having two starters, poppadoms (SO FRESH!), two mains, one rice portion, two pints and a coke and it came to just under £55 which I think is quite reasonable considering the quality, freshness and portion sizes. The restaurant itself has been done up really nice, great atmosphere overall and we can't wait to go back. Thank you Nomi, it's a treat having somewhere like this nearby. If I could make one request, it would be to add tofu on the menu - I think tofu would be amazing in the...
Read moreThis restaurants food preparation is like something from the 80s! and I don't mean that in a good way. According to them ALL there dishes contain nuts. Obviously if you have food allergy - which I add is now incredibly common this is very worrying. I do think the reality is they can’t be bothered to understand the ingredients of their dishes. (I suspect the sauces are bought in rather than made in the kitchen) This cop-out approach was common in the 80s but since then nearly all restaurants have adapted to legislation and the desire to be customers friendly and to accommodate customers with food allergies. I’m sure they’ll try and defend their position on the basis of customer care and health and safety. Reality check - your restaurants stance isn’t what customers are looking...
