Oxford Coffee Co — Restaurant in Wales

I have tried every coffee shop in Monmouth and can honestly say the Oxford is the BEST. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The staff are great. I understand it’s a family business and they put the nationals to shame. If you want to sit outside on a chilly day, they will supply you with a blanket to keep warm. Inside is cosy and comfortable with a lovely sofa and table and chairs. I’ve had most of the drinks on the menu including coffee, hot chocolate, iced tea, milkshake and can honestly say they are all delicious. A great variety but with consistent quality. Cold, rainy day and walked into this cafe because it looked nice and welcoming. Sat by last table left by the open door with my elderly father in law who complained that he felt cold. We all felt a little chilly so asked the owner if it was possible to shut the door (just while we were sat there). She refused saying it was their only form of ventilation as they got warm in the kitchen. Best coffee shop in Monmouth. Chelsea and Shane the owners are very welcoming and their staff are always friendly. The food is made to a very high standard and you get a lot for what you pay! I would 100% recommend the toasties they are amazing! They offer a wide range of drinks including their amazing freakshakes, they offer endless amazing flavours so will cater to anyone!
