Gem in the heart of Carmarthen. My party and I were on a brief visit to the old country from California/Massachusetts and had the great fortune of stumbling upon this joint. Perhaps the best local option for traditional Welsh foods—cawl, laverbread, cockles, etc.—and their “milky coffee” was to die for! The two owners offered us some lovely conversation, improved my pronunciation of Welsh words, and gave fantastic insider recommendations for sites to see in the area. We visited as a bunch of Welsh learners and the staff were really friendly and accommodated all our levels of ability swapping between English and Welsh.
