Do not order from the app. It can glitch and scam you. On the 17/11/24 at 17:24pm I ordered a deal for an XXL pizza with two free sides through their app. The delivery arrived with everything ordered but the pizza was only a large pizza. I phoned the store and they said on their end they only got an order for a large pizza and would not do anything about it. But I specifically picked a deal for an XXL pizza, they dismissed my complaint and told me to email them. I did, I reiterated my complaint with photos of my order and confirmation email but they have done absolutely nothing. I feel scammed. This is only the second time I have ordered from here, the first time they sent me a medium instead of a large, to their credit they did then send out the right pizza. But it certainly looks as though they have some issues going on in this store, and I have yet to receive any valid excuse or compensation for literally being scammed. I can't contact Papa Johns complaints as the Wrexham store in county borough isn't listed on their county's list for complaints. I am resorting to writing a shitty complaint in hopes of getting this sorted. In the mean time, I'm never ordering from here again because they do not give you what you paid for, and dismissed your complaint making it sound like you are a liar when you literally have the confirmation email confirming you are in the right. Read moreI would totally reiterate Michael’s comments. We ordered pizza online on the opening night & were advised the order would be available to collect from store 20 minutes later. When I arrived, the staff were absolutely snowed under with orders & yes, things were completely chaotic to say the least. I ended up having to wait a further hour for my order. However, the staff were polite & apologetic and clearly doing their best in very difficult circumstances ( not helped by the ‘rants’ they were receiving from irate customers!). This was their first night & teething problems are inevitably going to occur in the early stages. From a strategic point of view, I question why would company bosses would want the opening day to be a Tuesday which is 2 for 1 pizza day & likely to be the busiest day of the week?!! Read moreOrder took almost an hour and a half, it was with the delivery driver for 40 mins sweating in the boxes as tracked it because we were waiting that long. All food arrived cold, soggy and plastered with tomato purée. Tried to microwave the pizza as I don’t like cold pizza but it ended up in the bin it was still that soggy. The driver was in his mid 70s and must have driven so slow to take 40 mins to get here, I understand there’s probably other deliveries but have never had pizza before that literally falls apart to pick up as it’s that soggy and limp! No apology for how long he took either! Rang the store straight away for a ‘quality guarantee’ they supposedly offer, got through first time but they hung up, called them a further 20 times to claim the quality guarantee but obviously they didn’t answer again and have missed the 30 min guarantee slot!
