SaraZtro — Restaurant in Wales

It's more of a bar than a restaurant, went in and we were a table out of 2 that was eating , everyone else was just drinking. Food tasted good but the portions are fairly small, is it good value for money? Not really but it could be worse, you'd think with the competition of yammas a few doors down that they would provide the same kind of portions, but they do not. When we asked for tap water they told us that it might come out a little brown, and said if that's OK, um not really, not sure if this was true or they just didn't want to give us tap water and wanted us to buy over priced bottled water, either way if you are having general water issues with your tap, bottled water should have been given to us for free. Absolutely shocking customer service, me and my partner Walked in and sat down. I asked if they have any offers on or happy hours running and the waiter said no and walked off. The bar was dead and i then proceeded to hear the waiter say to his fellow worker and I quote “ that idiot asked me if we have any offers on happy hour on and laughed he must think we are a Wetherspoons. I then stood up and made him aware I heard what we said and proceeded to leave with my partner, manners cost nothing and he clearly has none at all. We will not be back, I am also a social media influencer and will be also posting about this experience.the owner needs to be made aware of this. Manners...

I had a table on the evening of 21st July 2023. Whilst dining, a gentleman came in with a young girl (7-8yrs approx) and asked if his daughter could use the toilet, which the waiter appeared to agree to. However, the supervisor/person who appeared to in charge over-ruled the waiter and refused to let the little girl use the toilet, so the man and his daughter left. To me, this left a rather unpleasant feel to the whole meal. So much for hospitality and compassion towards a child in need. Kudos to the waiter who agreed and shame on you to the supervisor.
