One of the workers there are so rude, i asked for a refund as the matcha latte that i had was full of clumps of matcha and was not blended correctly, this had to be remade 2 times before i asked for a refund. When i did, the worker was so incredibly rude and im not exaggerating, i told her why i wanted a refund (the dark green spots of matcha at the bottom and throughout the drink) and she took it from me and said "well I dont see any bits" to which i showed her and explained where exactly they were, she sighed and told me that next time i will speak to a manager. I simply said there wouldn't be a next time and i would like a refund for a drink that was not up to standard and had to be remade twice. As a person who works in hospitality, how do you mess up a drink 2 times in a row and then speak rudely and quite harshly to the customer? May aswell as thrown it over us. To be fair, the young girl next to her was absolutely wonderful, apologised and wished us a nice day to which we said to her aswell.

For a disclaimer, i have been drinking matcha for years and have tried various different places and so i am used to how it...

This is a nice branch of Coffee #1 with lots of seating over two floors and a conservatory to the rear that's beautifully light, if a little warm. This branch also has a small patio with four tables that are great for sunny days and less likely to be fully of people smoking than the Albany Road branch.

It's very family friendly with an accessible ground floor toilet and lots of high chairs available which are taken full advantage of by the local clientèle.

If you're looking to work somewhere outside your office for a couple of hours it's a pretty good option with a relaxed feel and a reasonable number of power outlets dotted around, although these are easier to find in the conservatory than the rest of the downstairs area.

The only downside to this branch is that it's beginning to show its age a little and could do with some touching up to the decor.

All in all if you're looking for a pleasant place to relax at the weekend and read a book you can do a lot...

I didn’t enjoy the coffee at all; it had a burnt taste. However, the toastie was tasty. The place has a cozy atmosphere, but it’s very dirty. When I went to the bathroom at 10 am, it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a week, and it was pretty clear that it hadn’t been cleaned in a while since it was so dirty, with old marks and dried stains, mold, scum, so early in the day. It was really gross. Even though there are two hand sanitizer stations, there was no sanitizer available. In a place that serves food, the cleanliness is really important, and this cleanliness level says a lot about the place. It’s quite...

I often pop in for a takeaway coffee with my dog, but the couple of times I've stayed in the staff have been very welcoming and accommodating of my dog. Giving her a nice bowl of water and lots of fuss! Tasty coffee too.
