Juno Lounge is a trendy Pub/ Eatery in Wellfield Road with a roof terrace. Its location in the stretch of some amazing eateries in the Wellfield Road, about a mile away from the Cardiff City Centre. Ambiance: The eatery/ bar is spread over 2 floors with vibrant coloured walls decorated by portraits on both floors. Tables are also wooden and chairs cushioned, ensuring comfy seating. The candles on each tables will be lit during nights giving it a different vibe. This place is ideal for spending time with family/ friends or dates or even spending time alone, as it’s a big place and there’s enough space for everyone. This place could get busy but not very noisy. Wouldn’t suggest this place for working with Laptops as there’s no charging points by the tables, although they’ve got free WiFi. Food The menu has plenty of options - of starters, tapas, burgers, drinks, wines and hot drinks. There's a lot of veg options too. The customers can have the luxury of placing orders in the comfort of their seats through the website (by scanning the QR code placed on each table) or the going down to the bar and doing it old school. Don’t think the staff comes around for taking orders from the table. There’s table service for everything though, drinks included. The burger combos are priced between £10-£20, but there are days when they got offers/ deals (like Cheeky Mondays/ Tapas Tuesdays/ Lunchtime/ Tea time deals) The cheapest pint is CruzoCampo at around £6 which ain’t the cheapest around. They’ve got a few more lagers and ales on the tab, like Birra Moreti, Hofmeister, Westons, Brixton’s and Old Mout Cider. They’ve also got a bunch of cocktails, cocktails, coffees, teas and iced drinks. Haven't tried much food here, and hence can't comment on it with authority. Service I’ve been frequenting this place for a while now, and the service has been quick for me everytime. The staff also are very friendly and hospitable. Activities They host a Pub Quiz every Monday night at 8 PM, at the upstairs seating area. It’s a good quiz, although not many take part in it compared to the ones held at other pubs in the town. Verdict: If you’re looking for an all-you-can-eat menu and spend some time, this is a good place to be at.

A very pleasant surprise right ' under my nose '. I get here for curiosity and I have had a very satisfactory experience. Modern and vintage in style in the same time. Vegetarian and gluten free options also any other nice or healthy food. Very good prices and it’s fine if you’re just taking a cup of coffee. A bacon large gluten free bread bun a big coffee with soy milk and a bottle of still water 11 £. Large enough for groups and families with children. I like very much the terrace and I bet that on a good weather it amazing. Definitely recommend it and I will be back for sure.

We came here for brunch last week. Food was tasty, but very small portions for the price that you are paying. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the café itself is well presented and comfortable. They have separate allergen menus for vegan, gluten free and vegetarian options. They also allow dogs, which is fantastic. We went back a few days later for coffee and cake, but they had sold out of all the cakes.

Just want to start by saying that I’m gutted to be writing this review as this has been my go to place for years and have eaten here multiple times a week every week for the past 6 years or more ..

The past three times I’ve been here have been horrendous which is why I am writing this review I will NOT be returning as to say they have gone down hill is an understatement

3 times I ordered starters that came the same time as my main (it wasn’t even busy), the food was cold and from being a long time customer I noticed the portions were considerably less than the previous times we had visited (Ordered a fish finger sandwich and they were very stingy with the fish fingers. It was cut in half, there was one fish finger in the one half and 2 in the other half and was left with a lot of bread) was very dissatisfied to say the least

Have had food poisoning the past 3 times I have been here

There’s is all new staff here which is also a VERY big part of the problem as they are all VERY stuck up and seem to be rich uni kids that work because they HAVE to .. AND IT SHOWS

To them EVERYTHING is a big issue and have gotten huffs, puffs and funny looks asking for things as little as ice for water and even a menu

MASSIVELY disappointed ! Through the years of coming here I have recommended this place to all my family & friends who also became good customers, but When speaking to them recently about how downhill this place has gone they have all had similar experiences with the underwhelming service, horrible cold miniature portions of food (but is the same price), the stuck up staff and overall unwelcoming atmosphere

Really hope management see’s this as they are running this establishment into the ground, have also never seen it so dead the past few times...

Just had the last breakfast we'll ever have at Juno Lounge. We visitied a couple of months back and put the slow service and stone cold food down to the busyness of that particular day. Today we arrived when the place was quiet but the results were, if anything, worse than before. We had 2 x Lounge Breakfasts that had clearly been carefully cooked and arranged on the plate, but by the time they reached us they were again stone cold. At £6.75 a go, this is nowhere near good enough.

We quietly let the table staff know that were not impressed but were hungry and didn't want to wait for replacements. After we'd finished we were directed to speak to 'Paul' the manager before we left. Paul explained to us that this happens regularly and that he was frustrated with the chef. We explained that this had happened before and we'd just put it down to experience. Despite this he just apologised and offered us 2 x takeaway coffees. Having just had coffee with our breakfasts this was insufficient. All he needed to do was offer us something to make us feel like returning one day, such as a voucher for food - this way we'd be coming back and they could restore our confidence and take money from us for drinks. This is not rocket science and we left even more annoyed than we would have been had Paul not even spoken to us.

All in all pretty pathetic stuff and we shall not...
