Severn Park Cafe — Restaurant in Wales

What a let down. After a long drive up through Wales we stopped off in Newtown to stretch our legs and have a cup of tea and something to eat. We saw this cafe when we parked the car and thought ideal. When we entered we started to look at a menu on one of the tables when we were approached by a member of staff who quite bluntly said, these tables are not in use use a table with the table mats on and we stopped cooking at 2pm. So seeing this was 3pm so we gathered that the 'all day breakfast' must finish at 2pm and also no hot food is available after 2pm. So a cup of tea later we left. Very poor customer service, rude staff member. Great advertisement...

A round of toast consists of 1 slice in this cafe. Coffee was weak, and I guess 10am is too early for service with a smile. Its obvious that this cafe is for the local construction workers and Coach travelers do not warrant a good customer service. Will definitely not return to this place next time I am passing through Newton. Not the best first...

Fantastic find It's been years since going to a cafe or the like and receive scorching hot freshly cooked to order food to eat.
