Tom’s Smashed Burgers — Restaurant in Wales

Gutted, used to rave and tell everyone this place had the best smashed burgers in Wales been here many times since it’s opened. Ordered a triple bacon burger I forgot to ask for no pickles so I went back in 2 minutes later to let them know and the server had an awful attitude about it, he went upstairs to tell the cook no pickles and this is what I received in my burger. Feels like it was purposely done, used to rate this place highly bit disappointed this time.

No mate I didn’t order through uber eats I ordered in store, i was on my own, I asked the server behind the bar for no pickles 2 minutes after ordering, I watched him go up stairs to say no pickles then came back down then I received my food in store 5-10 minutes later. The server had a bit of attitude as well mate so I’m not sure wether he’s told you extra pickles out of spite I’m not sure but I definitely told him no pickles and watch him go...

Brought my 85 year old mum for her 1st ever burger. Firstly- I need to point out that the venue is not easy to access for those with mobility issues. At least 3 steps to get to the till or toilet, tables & chairs not that easy to mive around etc. However staff were super helpful & friendly. I didn't realise that Tom - who is really young - is the entrepreneur & chef. So impressed! We had a classic American burger, a bacon burger, fries & hallumi fries. OMG - absolutely loved everything. Mum loved her food. The bacon on my burger was perfect. The hallumi crisp & tasty, mums burger was wonderfully tasty - even the pickles! Second time I visited the Crafty Devil Cellar and ate Toms Burgers. Both times they were delicious. Last night I ordered the smashed cheeseburger, as it came and I couldn’t fault it. The crunchy bits around the edge are lovely. My friend ordered the vegan burger and ate everything in front of her. I was starving when I arrived and planned to order a waffle afterwards but was stuffed from the burger.
