Starbucks Coffee — Restaurant in Wales

Staff are clearly overworked with both the drive thru and the main shop to deal with. Only two staff on duty when I was there, and queues rapidly building up both in the shop and in the drive thru lane. I suspect this was what caused them to make a mistake with my drink - giving me cream when I had asked for none. However, they were mostly quite helpful and friendly, which is probably the best thing that can be said about this location.

The photo was taken after my visit (I got my coffee indoors) but is a great representation of how understaffing is causing massive delays in the ordering (and recieving) process. I timed one car and it took around 8 minutes from the back of the lane for them to finish placing an order - in other words, to move forward 2/3 car-spaces. I would have waited to find out how long it would take for them to pick up their coffee (another 4 car-spaces), but I did not have the time.

tl;dr: Avoid making even slightly complex orders and be prepared for...

After waiting in the drive for 10 mins behind 1 car, they had obviously got their order wrong. My turn came, my order was also wrong...instead of a cheese toastie, they gave my a sausage bap, which I handed back, I had another wait, when my toastie was ready it was placed on the side, after quite a few minutes, the staff continued to serve people inside, so I had to call out for them to pass me my toastie so I could leave. After we drove off, on the motorway I realised my drink was also incorrect, I had paid extra for syrup but was not in there. Very poor service. Really unhappy, and staff had poor attitude and didn't appear to care. All the while the poor people behind ( about 5 cars) had a further wait. Not a good look...

Expensive and long waiting times for food and drinks. We had a cookies and cream frappachino which ended up costing more as they didn't have change which was bizzare as they had a very long cue, there were multiple people waiting behind and even by the time we has sat down and had our drinks and got up to leave they still didn't have change.. Or so they said. Oh not to mention the daft buggers spelt my name wrong too. Well I felt soooo embarrassed to be seen with a Starbucks frap that had the wrong name...
