Sunny's Sports Bar — Restaurant in Wales

Not the best experience. We arrived mid afternoon and were greeted at the door by a teenage girl wearing a black t-shirt with " not my problem" written across the front. I should have seen this as a warning, but I'd already paid for parking. There were plenty of social distancing measures in place, so no complaints there. We placed our order and were shown to our table. We were not told that there was a wait on food. I could see there was only one other table, so was expecting maybe 15-20 mins. Nope it took 45 mins with no explanation of why. The kids' meals were fine; the fish looked like it came from a packet and my the steak which I ordered medium rare came out fully cooked. I explained my concern to the waitress, who didn't know what to do, so I took it to the kitchen myself. Luckily a lovely lady in the kitchen offered my a new one and it arrived 10 mins later. No onion rings, which I wasn't informed about when ordering. Overall the food was fine, but it was a really bad experience. I gave the food 5 stars as we didn't have the food so can't comment on that.

The bar staff are brilliant and top quality and love to have a laugh which is great especially when it comes to having a drink very friendly indeed.

Now the atmosphere the times me and my partner were going in was around 19:00 just in time for karaoke was great to hear the kids getting up and singing the same repeat so gs but all good, the big downside is the locals/regulars giving snarky comments, staring at us for no reason might of been because we arnt regulars who knows. Fantastic family pub/restaurant with family karaoke & live entertainment! Plenty of outdoor seating areas & ample space inside for the little AND big ones to run around! The staff are friendly & helpful with a good sense of humour. Lots of sanitizing stations throughout the venue & toilets surprisingly cleaned throughout the day/night. The DJ is lovely.
