The Branch — Restaurant in Wales

Our ferry to Dublin was cancelled last minute so we were in need of a place to rest out of the rain and get some food. A local told us about "The Branch". A quick 5- minute walk resulted in enjoying a pint of John Smith's local draught and one of the best burgers we've ever had. Supposed to be family friendly, I think that only counts if you are a local and go into the pub every weekend. Me and my family were staying at the travel lodge before getting a ferry the next day. We walked in excited to have a Sunday dinner and the entire pub went silent and stared at us not a single person had a friendly bone. Walked straight back out. A shame, not even the bar staff...

There are 6 lovely rooms here a bathroom fully stocked with just about anything you would need and a kitchen area with several cooking devices, tea and coffee fridge crockery and cutlery. The landlady Pat doesn't like to book in different parties so we had the facilities to ourselves. Would definitely stay again, would be lovely to share with friends...
