DO NOT Believe any response from the very rude owner of this establishment. We were nothing be courteous and polite to them all night as a family of 9 even though they embarrassed my 17yr daughter. I did tell them the food was lovely, it was. He has lied and said I haven't mentioned that on my TripAdvisor review when I have clearly given 5 stars for food and value. He has also lied and said my daughter's father ordered her drink, he never- she spoke and asked for the cider herself. Her dad then said he'd have the same and I asked for a 3rd. The other 4 adults in our party also ordered their drinks. Does your CCTV have volume? They then brought our drinks over which we began to drink whilst looking through the menus. After 5 minutes the waitress Bianca came back over and asked to see her ID !! Surely she should of asked for that before serving her and allowing her to start to drink it. We said she's 17yrs old and allowed a cider with her meal as long as she hasn't paid for it herself. Anyway I kept the drink and said I'd drink it. So throughout the whole meal they kept popping their heads round spying on us- so uncomfortable. But in the Meantime we'd found a photo of her driving licence and letter and they still wouldn't let her have it. Now that's OK if you'd of followed the correct procedure to start off with, asked for ID and refused to give it her, but you never - you completely embarrassed her and are now lying about what actually happened. Seems you dismiss people's actual criticisms by calling them malicious or stupid - you sir or madam are an out and out liar. If you don't mind the shocking treatment from management and being told you're a liar, this place does do decent PUB FOOD. Me and my daughter have never felt so uncomfortable. Added a photo of bottom of my review, with the 5 stars for food and value and the owners response calling me a liar.

This was our second time visiting The Breeze Hill Hotel. The first time we were welcomed by the landlady, Maureen, who was very friendly and chatted to us for about ten minutes. The drinks were reasonably priced for the area and the Madri was superb. My wife said her Malbec was of a good quality. We promised to return for a meal, as their menu looked appetising. We weren't disappointed when we went to dinner yesterday. Mary, who appeared to be the team leader of the front of house staff, was very friendly and gave us a great table with fabulous views of the Irish Sea. We booked for 5.15, but arriving at 4.15, it gave us an opportunity to have a drink on the patio and enjoy the sun. We went back inside for our meal and Mary was very attentive to our requests, as were her colleagues. As we enjoyed our meals, it steadily got busy, with dog walkers, old and young. The well behaved dogs were given fresh bowls to water and treats. To be fair, we didn't notice they were there. We waited for about for the food to arrive, it was freshly prepared and cooked perfectly, with good-sized portions. My wife had the vegetable Malaysian curry, which she said was delicious. I had the homemade steak and ale pie with triple fried chips, which was equally tasty and piping hot. We would definitely recommend the Breeze Hill for a lovely meal or quiet drink, as it has a very relaxing ambience and very attentive staff. Quick mention for Barry the barman, who was friendly and remembered what drinks we had ordered, a couple of days previously. We will look forward to dining again at The Breeze Hill when we next visit Benllech. I've enclosed a photo of the view from the patio.

We didn’t stay so can not comment on the rooms The food and service were amazing. Linda and Barry couldn’t do enough for us. We only popped in for a drink but the food looked and smelt so good we ended up having a meal. They have a great variety of food for vegetarians which was great for me, my husband had a meat starter and the mussels dish. I like the fact you can ask them to not have certain things on your plate if you don’t like tomatoes don’t have them. You know you are having fresh cooked food not ping meals as we call pub food that cannot be changed. Will definitely be coming back. The pub is very clean and well kept.

We were extremely disappointed with the food from Breeze Hill Hotel on Sunday 11/4/2022 , we had booked a special family meal for 6 as we have been going there for years and it had quite a good reputation from the previous landlords. We arrived early and had some drinks and ordered 1 fish & chips and 5 Sunday roasts after approximately 20 minutes the fish dinner was brought out followed up with the Sunday roasts after taking one mouthful realised the whole meal was cold infact all 5 meals were cold , I told the waitress and the manager asked which dinner was cold and we said all the 5 roast dinners so she took them away, after approx 20 minutes the meals were replaced however this time it was warm and my son had finish his fish dinner, the meal itself was very bland The broccoli and cauliflower was quite hard and the carrot and the Swede were the diced type you get out of Iceland Not really what we were expecting at £17 per meal was extremely disappointing , The chef did come out and apologised and said there was some communication problem back in the kitchen , however that was no excuse for still bringing out cold food and us having to wait an extra 20 minutes or so for our meals ! So when we asked for the bill we said is there anything they can do for us In the way of compensation and the landlady said NO not at all as we cooked the food from fresh , so we won’t be going there again under these new people that are running the establishment , I don’t think they will last long as there are plenty of other places to get good food in the area I have supplied a photo of my receipt to show that she cannot say we must be getting mixed up with some other pub . So can you please explain why I am cheeky to ask for some form of compensation for your errors , there are six of us at the table five meals were brought out cold which were sent back not our fault, my son had to eat his fish and chips without the others joining in why should we wait 20 odd minutes each on top of The 20 odd minutes previous , most restaurants I visit the waitresses and waiters come over and ask how are you enjoying your food but you did not even do this Even after the replacement meals , and as for being called cheeky and a keyboard warrior 3 out of 5 of my complaints on Google this is over15 years so really most people are getting it right first time , if you’re visiting the Benllech area I suggest you go ANYWHERE else rather than the...

Me my partner and his family booked into the breeze hill for a late mothers day Sunday lunch. We had been seated at our table where we looked at the menu. We had ordered our drinks and food which was no problem. As we were waiting for our food to arrive we noticed that a few people of other tables that were saying the food isn't that hot, which to me was a little concerning but wasn't judging at the time. I did notice we had to wait a while for our food considering the pub wasn't that busy. When we had received our food it was Luke warm to cold apart from my partners which was hot so that was an upside. We had asked one of the staff if they would be able to just warm up the dinners as we didn't want to wait another period of time, but they insisted they would do us all a fresh meal, which i did understand. When our meals came out for the second time, they were warmer than last but not overall hot. The chef did personally come out and apologise to us for what had happened, which we did explain we only needed it warmed up we didn't need it doing all over again but thankyou. When i had finished eating and put my cutlery on my plate the server had basically already started taking the plates away saying are you finished. After we had finished our mains they asked if we would like dessert, we had a look at the menu but decided not to go for it. 2 people from the table had gone to play pool whilst the rest of us just sat and chatted. About 30 mins later we asked for the bill. Around 45 mins had gone by and still no bill so we all moved to the pool table area which then we had to go to the bar to get our bill. We did explain what had happened to the service we had and our meals, and asked if there would be any discount we would be allowed adding to the bill or any compensation with a couple of drinks on the house for the issue we had. as the meal was over £150. The reply was NO not at all as we had done it fresh for you, even thought we didn't ask for that. I have worked in hospitality front and back of house for a number of years and the way we were treated was not great at all. We were also told that there must of been communication issues between front of house and kitchen, but i honestly don't see how that could of happened as we got the right food it was just hot. Will not be returning. Date of...

The people who work here clearly don’t like visitors from outside the area. They have done nothing but look down on us since we arrived. Very friendly with the locals, but don’t give you the time of day if they don’t recognise you. PLEASE, don’t only read the other reviews, but look at how the owners have responded. The lady owner specifically needs to do some sort of course on business/customer service. You can make your own minds up before you visit about of the type of service you can expect. If you aren’t happy, basically, ‘bore off’. Very unprofessionally. I certainly wouldn’t visit again.

Edit Yes, my dog climbed onto the table for a moment, as despite being a ‘dog friendly pub’, there was no area for the dogs to be comfortable. You didn’t ask ‘nicely’ at all, you were curt. When we first arrived and asked if dogs were allowed inside, we were told to sit away from the bar area because there ‘was already a dog there’. This dog belonged to one of their locals.

We ended up sitting outside because we felt unwelcome, but had to come back inside after ten minutes due to the amount of midgies landing in our drinks.

The owner spent 95% of her time just sat drinking beer with the locals. We felt like intruders, not welcome at all.

So I stand by my review. And being a business owner myself, I know how to handle negative feedback. You have made it clear on a number of occasions that you don’t like any sort of criticism.

I suggest that the success of your business is down to the location, and not the customer service.

Second edit. By keep coming back at me by adding to your reply, you are only confirming what I have already stated. You are rude, and you are in the wrong job.

As for the midgies, they aren’t your fault, but they were definitely present, and three landed in my drink, which is the reason why we HAD to come back inside. That said, we shouldn’t have been made to feel unwelcome within three minutes of standing at the bar, where we felt we HAD to sit outside in the first place. I suggest we end this tit for tat because it isn’t getting...
