The Cafe at Waves Amusements — Restaurant in Wales

Absolutely disgraceful customer service and will not be visiting again. Visited today (10th May 2025). Young staff member took our order and I pointed out the table we were sat at. Another family came in after us and had their food served. Approx 10 mins later the family asked if one of their meals served should have been for us. I checked with the staff, again, a young female staff member, who checked and told us it was our food. I explained this was not the correct order and was told this was how it would come (hotdog and chips together). We had ordered a hot dog and a separate portion of chips. Staff member told us to to take the meal from the other table and separate the foods, to which I said I wasn’t happy to give my children food which had been sat on another families table for at least 10 minutes and likely cold. Staff member told me it appeared “perfectly hot”. I again said I would not be taking that food and giving it to my children. Reluctantly the staff member took the meal and advised they would make it again. 2 mins later the food was bought out separated - clearly the same food reheated. The older female staff member took it upon herself to tell me that the order would have gone to the correct table if I had told them the table number. She said this was policy upon ordering food, which I said was not asked for when ordering. She told me I was in the wrong and in future to give the table number. She was rude and condescending, and continued to argue with me. Upon walking off she said sarcastically “enjoy your food”. I advised her it wasn’t good customer service to take that tone with customers, to which she said that was how she was. She again said in future to make sure I was clear on my order and table number to which I said I would not be visiting in future, which she replied “that’s your prerogative”. Food was left on the table as I would not eat anywhere where staff feel it is ok to speak to their customers In a rude, degrading manner. Please seek training for...

Went in to ask for their first aid box......haven't got one, no first aider available either for members of the public!!! At a location full of kids with a playground outside I found this disgusting. I went in there with my nephews finger pouring with blood and they wouldn't even give me an antiseptic wipe. Management.....sort it out, I would think this a basic must have for your kind of business.
