**Outstanding Dining Experience at Suhail Restaurant** We recently visited Suhail Restaurant in Prestatyn as a party of six, and it was an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly polite and attentive, ensuring that our needs were met throughout the evening. The food was not only delicious but also served in generous portions. There was a wide variety of dishes to choose from, catering to all tastes and preferences. Each dish was flavorful and beautifully presented, making our meal truly memorable. The restaurant itself was spotless, reflecting their high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The prices were reasonable, offering great value for the quality of food and service provided. Overall, we had a fantastic time at Suhail Restaurant and would definitely return.

Genuinely a really nice Indian restaurant. The best service we've had in an Indian restaurant. High chairs available for baby/toddler on arrival. Great decor and tables had plenty of space and leg room. The food is completely their own. Not like anywhere else we've eaten, really tasty, full of flavour and spice. The madras was milder than I'm used to but the strong flavour made up for it. Upon arrival, we felt like the prices were slightly on the expensive side compared to other Indian restaurants But the high quality of the food and the service completely makes up for it. Highly recommend chicken Tikka Shashlik with Madras sauce. The rice is better than anywhere else I've had it. The chutney tray also in their own league, completely their own and not like a standard Indian. Would happily come again!

Staff are very very very kind and courteous - above and beyond. In fact, I think customers really need to appreciate them more. Compared to other places around England that are super courteous here. It's a large place with high ceilings which means sound travels. Food is good. Portion sizes are correct. Chapati was bigger than it should be, so Prestatyn, be very thankful.I would say dishes are adequately sized and correct. Chapattis are normally the size of your hand so you're getting two to three handfuls worth here. Not authentic Indian restaurant as not owned by Indians as such but dishes are okay to good. They are catered for English or Welsh palates. A meal for two will set you back about £50 with 2 soft drinks.

So we go to this restaurant every year for our wedding anniversary, tonight we arrived and was greeted by a new face however very pleasant and welcoming, we were asked to wait whilst a table was made which was fine. We sat down and a chat arrived for our drinks order shortly after. I then told this chap that we were also ready to order food and he said he would tell his manager to come and take order. 10 minutes later manager walked past so I asked about ordering food which he shouted the lady behind counter to come and take order. Starters arrived and not long after tucking in the staff kept walking past looking like they were ready to take plates and move to next dish. A staff member then approached and asked if we had finished when clearly we were still eating. After that another staff member re appeared and asked again which we just said yes and moved a few items to the side to have with our mains. As he was taking the plates from starters he said is it ok if we bring main now to which we replied no thank you , please leave it 10 minutes, ( we really felt as we were being rushed ). Anyway 10 minutes later our main meals arrived. Previous years food has been presented nice in a tray with candles, themed with baskets and quality has been spot on. This year Chicken tikka = Very watery compared to previous years. Chicken Balti = My Wife Enjoyed Naan bread ( Garlic and plain ) = Piled high into a plain white bowl, this bread was very dry. Chips = These were just spread out on a very small plate. Rice = Again just spread onto a small white plate. During us eating our main meals other customers left which made us the only ones left in there, the background music had either been turned off or had finished its tracks, this was not put back on so the restaurant was very quiet until about 10 feet away from us the so called manager and another staff member placed cutlery trays on a table at the back of the bar and decided to start drying the knifes , folks , spoons and this was being done in handfuls and been thrown into the trays making lots of noise which really was not pleasant during eating our meal. This manager then came over to ask if we had finished which he could clearly see husband was still eating. Moments later came again to which we just said yes done now, he then asked if we had enjoyed to which husband replied it was ok until you started cleaning all the cutlery and making all that noise whilst we were eating, his response was simple , oh we apologise for this and he then walks off. We then got up and went to the bar to pay (previous visits , they would always come to the table to take payment) the bill was 70 odd £. The lady behind the counter asked if everything was ok, I said ok until the cutlery situation to which she just giggle and then answered the mobile phone which was ringing during our conversation. Not a care in the world. Previous visit price of set meal for 2 = £49.00 , this visits price for same meal £52.50. I understand inflation however if your increasing prices then surely keep the product the same, I’m afraid to said the taste of the food was very poor today and looks like budget produce with no presentation rather than what we were used to here with was quality, great presentation and great staff all over. Going off tonight’s experience, this place must have new ownership or new management because the old owner would go crazy if he seen the quality of tonight’s service and food. Overall Higher prices , less quality , less of customer service skills I’m afraid to say next year we will be changing venue for our...

Terrible service, incredibly rude staff and a scam. I went with a few of my friends where we were served as normal with the staff taking our drinks orders, after which he offered us complementary poppadoms. I asked how much they were and he said they came with the drinks, so I accepted and the drinks, poppadoms and sauces arrived shortly afterward. Only later did we find out that the platter including 4 poppadoms and 5 small (~5cm diameter) pots of sauce actually cost around £5, which we were happy to pay but was obviously not ideal being as we were under the impression they were free.

The next difficulty we faced was the issue of ordering the actual food. It was only early afternoon, the restaurant was fairly quiet so we had our order taken fairly quickly. We only wanted starters and drinks, so I informed the server that that was all we intended to buy, at which point he demanded we all buy mains. Fair enough, they may have thought we were messing them around, but there was no indication we HAD to order mains, and moreover the restaurant itself only seated a few people at that time.

At this point I asked if we could simply pay for what we had ordered already and then get out of their hair, to which the server deeply sighed and stared daggers at me. He started to tap seemingly random numbers into the card machine, with no receipt or menu in hand, then presented me with a charge of £18 for 4 drinks and some poppadoms. I paid, and after leaving, my friends examined the pictures of the menu we had taken, and discovered that had only ordered £12 worth of food.

In all, terrible service, rude staff, unclear rules. Would recommend if you enjoy being mistreated...

Four of us went to dine in on a Saturday night. Extremely busy period, and it was obvious from the very beginning that the staff was not accustomed to coping with so many people. Even though we'd booked for 8:30, we didnt get a table till 8:50. All this time, we were standing in a cramped waiting area with a whole lot of other people waiting for a table or takeaway. Our relief when we finally got a table was short-lived. Since it was getting late, we placed orders for starters and drinks right away. The starters arrived at 9:40, a full 50 minutes after we'd placed our order. It was very difficult to get a waiter's attention since none of them were approaching our end of the restaurant. The starters (kebab platter) when they arrived were cold, so they were probably sitting in the kitchen and the waiter had forgotten to serve them. The main course consisted of Chicken Biryani and Garlic Chilli Chicken, both of which were extremely disappointing. The biryani rice was undercooked, and the dish tasted more like some sort of spicy fried rice. The garlic chilli chicken had too much chilli - I'm Indian, so I can handle a fair amount of chilli, but this dish had so much, you couldn't taste anything else. Extremely disappointing experience, and I hope the management take appropriate measures to improve their food...
