The Cliff Restaurant — Restaurant in Wales

The Cliff advertises itself as a fine dining venue. The dishes attempted to replicate a fine dining experience, however, the main dishes let this experience down. The steak dish on the menu was akin to a Tesco Express steak for £5-£7 slapped on the plate covered in an albeit nice tasting gravy alongside other nicely presented reductions. To add, the other main was a let down, with the halibut placed in overcooked white beans. As such the experience was a complete let down. This is not fine dining. We were staying in Saundersfoot for Ironman and decided to have afternoon tea. We’re both vegetarian - the sandwich fillings were a bit disappointing . Would’ve liked cream cheese & cucumber / cheese and tomato. Amazing view and lovely cocktails....
