"Saundersfoot Beach is a delightful destination that offers a charming seaside atmosphere, making it an ideal place to spend a few hours and enjoy the coastal surroundings. However, it's important to note that during peak holiday seasons, the popularity of both Tenby and Saundersfoot can lead to some challenges.

One of the main difficulties is finding parking, which can be a bit of a gamble. Due to the high number of visitors, securing a parking space can be a matter of luck. It's advisable to plan your visit during less busy times to increase the chances of finding available parking. Popular beach destinations tend to attract a high number of visitors during peak seasons, which can result in crowded conditions.

Unfortunately, the council has a habit of allowing tables and chairs to be setup over the accessible parking spaces, making it more challenging for individuals with disabilities or mobility issues to find suitable parking. This situation can be frustrating and inconvenient for those who rely on these designated spaces. It is crucial for the local authorities to address this issue and ensure that disabled parking bays remain accessible, even during  unusual time's (COVID) or busy periods.

Assuming you are able to find parking and visit during a less busy period, Saundersfoot Beach offers a tranquil and enjoyable experience. The beach itself provides a picturesque setting for a leisurely stroll, sunbathing, or simply appreciating the beauty of the coastline. The calm waters and clean sands make it a great spot for families to relax and enjoy the seaside atmosphere.

It's important to be mindful of seagulls, as they can be quite opportunistic when it comes to food. It's advisable to keep your food well protected and avoid leaving it unattended to prevent any unwanted encounters. Taking necessary precautions will ensure that you have a hassle-free experience.

In summary, Saundersfoot Beach offers a charming seaside atmosphere and provides a pleasant destination to spend a few hours by the coast. However, finding parking can be challenging during peak times, and there have been reports of disabled parking spaces being compromised for the placement of tables and chairs. The local council should prioritize maintaining accessible parking options for individuals with disabilities. Enjoy the tranquility of the beach, be mindful of seagulls, and make the most of your time at...

What a beautiful place. Saundersfoot beach

A small but very popular resort with all the facilities you might need. Wide flat, sandy beach at low tide but still plenty of space at high tide.  Pretty harbour. Stunning views from the top of the hill. Regular events such as The World Cawl cooking championships. Dog restrictions apply to the whole beach except a small area just before you get to Coppet Hall beach between 1stMay and 30th September. Check out a map of the beach to help with which section of beach it applies to. A voluntary dog ban applies to Coppet Hall beach between 1st May and the 30thSeptember. The owners of the beach, Hean Castle Estate, realise the beach can get very busy with families and might not be the best beach to bring your dog in the height of summer. If you’re planning to visit, check out the tide times to make sure you’ve plenty of beach to play on and that you don’t get cut off by the...

Pretty harbour. Stunning views from the top of the hill. Dog friendly beaches but dog restrictions apply to the whole beach except a small area just before you get to Coppet Hall beach between 1st May and 30th September. Lots of places to eat/drink and a few shops to browse in if you want to. A couple of the shops on ocean square sell wet suits and dry robes and the cafe by the front serves a mean hot chocolate! Parking is charged at £3 for 2 hours, there are disabled parking spaces in the Harbour Car Park for Blue Badge Holders, in close proximity to the beach. Access around the main harbour area is disabled friendly and beach wheelchairs can be hired. There is a beautiful little seating garden area with seating near the harbour and it great to have a sit down here with a cuppa or ice cream. Beautiful place but can get extremely busy in the...

We love this beach :) clean , beautiful and perfect for all the family The Glen beach side is dog friendly and the one side is not ( during certain times of the year from may to sept i think ) The sand is perfect for sandcastles and is super soft. The life guards on it ( please check times ) . Everything is really close. Good big carpark close to the beach. Fish and chip shop close by , lots of cafes close by , beach shops near by and a really good gift shop by Phillys cafe which sells everything you need for the beach ( one of the best ive found ) The crabbing area is just a short way from the beach too ⛱️ Everything is really accessible , public toilets are well maintained and close by.

Saunders foot beach is a nice place to spend the day. There is parking near the beach but get there early to get a space. I went in June and the weather was really windy and quite cold that day. There are ice cream shops, cafes and the area is scenic and clean. Fishing boats are active and the water looks and feels unsoiled. It's an area near fishguard that is Pembrokeshire. You can get the ferry to Ireland via fishguard.
