The Crab & Lemon Restaurant — Restaurant in Wales

We were excited to visit a new restaurant snd especially having read reviews. Unfortunately this was not our experience. Our table was near to a drafty doorway . Service was average but not a pleasant experience. I ordered a meal which was accompanied by patas bravas as per the menu but came as small dry pieces of fryed potatoes and no sauce. I asked had they forgotten to add the sauce and which a small pot of warm sauce was just plonked on to our table with no explanation. When asked did we enjoy our meal we replied not really. Went here for my birthday and wasn’t disappointed, lovely chilled restaurant and service with a smile. We had 3 courses and loved everything. My daughter recommends the Eaton mess, it’s nice to eat properly fresh cooked food and relax with a jug of sangria!!! (Which was strong 🍹) definitely returning next trip it’s a little hidden jem serving beautifully cooked food 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ps I’ve read some comments about front of house…. Do they know how hard it is to get staff theses days!!!! You can see they are young and learning, but this takes nothing away from the quality...

Crab & lemon your having a laugh I asked for a crab sandwich no crab not a good start. So I decided on the chicken liver pate. We'll what can I say not a lot when it arrived it looked like it had come from a tin of dog food no taste no seasoning in fact it was terrible. So I won't be returning and I won't be recommending the Crab & lemon to anyone.
