Been here many times now and I'm still finding new things to try because the menu is extensive and it's not unusual to see regular changes and updates. Yesterday I tried one of the gluten free bagels (BBQ chicken) and it was delicious. Loved the bagel and loved the filling so together they were amazing!
Drinks wise you re spoilt for choice. Delicious coffee - iced vanilla latte is a particular favourite of mine. If you're not a coffee fan there's plenty of other choices though including delicious fresh iced tea (raspberry is my particular favourite), There's also ice cream milkshakes and I love the fact the fruit flavoured ones (aside from banana) use the actual fruit in them rather than just a flavouring. You can really taste the real fruit flavour. I particularly love the blueberry and raspberry ones.
If you're after a lovely view with your meal you can't beat the ones from either window in The Jester's Tower. I highly recommend the window seats if you can get one.
If you want a friendly coffee shop, with a decent offering of food and drinks - including vegan and gluten free - with a relaxed atmosphere, lovely views and the personal touch then this is definitely a...
Β Β Β Read moreThis place has been open for a long time. I used to go for coffee here as a teenager! Revisited for the first time in years, to bring my children to the Santa's Grotto event, and the place hasn't changed a bit! Small coffee house with the quirk of being within one of the original Conwy castle wall turrets. I can't speak for the food, but heard good things about it and that they have great vegan options. I am pretty sure the barista is the "Jester" of the Jesters Tower and we've seen him perform a few times at the Llangollen Faerie Festival. If so, he's great! π§ββοΈπ Absolute best grotto experience (we've taken our little ones for visits with Santa, across Chester, Haworth, Shrewsbury, Liverpool and various locations in North Wales. But this was the most charming of all). It looked family-run and "Santa" was great with the little ones and it was personalised for the children. My skeptical 6 year old left with no questions or doubts about authenticity, which was a first! Reasonably priced and recommended! Half off for children who go to school in the local area and Santa is bilingual (Welsh &...
Β Β Β Read moreWe had such a lovely experience here! The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful, with a charming historic feel inside and a stunning view of the harbour, perfect for unwinding and enjoying a quiet morning coffee and a light breakfast.
The service was impressively quick, but what truly stood out was the attention to detail and the genuine care put into everything. You can really tell they take great pride in what they do.
I ordered a bacon sandwich, and honestly, it was amazing. The bacon had absolutely no fat on it and there was a perfect portion of bacon, which just shows how much thought goes into both the preparation and the quality of ingredients. It's rare to find a place that puts that much care into even the simplest dishes.
My partner had the chicken mayo and lettuce sandwich. She's a pretty picky eater, especially when it comes to sandwiches, but even she was blown away by the flavor and quality, We also each got a Dirty Chai, and they did not disappoint, couldn't ask for any better.
You can truly taste the difference when people care.
Highly,...
