Tucked away behind the main road this little cafe was worth a visit. We have a number of dietary requirements, both being vegetarian and one of us gluten intolerant so this was a welcome find. We visited in mid October, but the weather was kind do we were able to sit in one of two the large garden areas. The menu had a good selection of veggie and gluten free options. We had the marinated halloumi wrap and a slice of gluten free cake. Both were delicious! The staff were excellent, greeted with a smile, very attentive to our needs and gave the sense of being welcoming, something that is becoming less common in many establishments. The inside of the cafe was small and cosy, the decor gives a nice homely feel. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Lovely small café, a little hidden away in Narberth. Excellent food and can definitely recommend the cauliflower crockets. Staff were friendly. Good selection of cakes as well. Best of all this is a dog friendly café. Also had a good number of home made jams and chutneys for sale.

I often go here but seriously... the weakest tea. Just ONE bag in a pot!?? No matter how long it stewed or got stirred, it got no more brewed. (Photo after much brewing!) And all for nearly £7! Orange and almond cake was tasteless too! So disappointing and a rip off.

A beautiful disappointment first impression. The place is decorated really nicely. It's got a lovely atmosphere and for the most part. Proves itself to have the incredible potential for a lovely place to sit and relax.

I came here to do some work on my Laptop today. They only took cash because the card reader was down. Thats fine. I can understand technical issues. Im not some snob or a 'Karen'. So I left, got cash and came back. 🫡

I ordered a coffee, which was overpriced but nevertheless really nice.👍🏻 Then I ordered a Bacon Roll for £5.50 - I had high expectations for such an extortionate price. But was disappointed when it turned up. It was literally a simple, medium sized sourdough bun with two very satisfactory sized slices of bacon. 😒

After my bog standard, extortionate Bacon Roll, I went up to get a cake. Which they had a good variety of. But nothing to go with it, no ice cream, custard or cream. But it tasted nice I guess. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Then the really dissapointing part. After finishing my Bacon Roll and Cake I was sat with my Coffee for about 45minutes, the Coffee was coming to the end and before I had even finished it a Waitress came over and asked how long I was going to be to free up some tables...

I am sorry, but its not like I expected to stay and dp work without buying anything. I would have stayed for a few more hours where I would have got more Coffee and later bought Lunch too. But to usher someone out of the door after eating and not even finishing their Coffee is down right rude. I challenged her and said "Im doing work, so I planned to be here until its done, do you want me to buy something?"

She said "No nevermind" and walked away.

At that point. The statement was clear, I wasnt wanted there. So I got up and left.

To conclude: this place is overly priced and focused on getting as many people in and out as possible with no value for people actually being comfortable and having a good time while they are there.

Two words come to mind to describe the place. Pretentious &...

On leaving the cafe we were accosted loudly by one waitress and accused of not paying for our drinks. Loud enough to draw complete attention of the entirety of the cafe. Once establishing that we had not only paid for our drinks, but also placed money in the Tips jar whilst paying, the waitress then remarked “oh well I didn’t serve you” Well perhaps it’s a good idea to maintain good communication throughout your staff. The apology, unlike the accusation was not broadcast to the whole populace of the cafe. Please visit here if you like being treated like a thief due to their staff’s sheer...
