The Ruthin Castle — Restaurant in Wales

Update May 2023. After several changes of management, the Castle is open again. If you're after a busy, lively pub with lots of sports on TV, then give it a try. If you're after good quality beer give it a miss. They no longer offer any cask ale. Previous review: Great to see them serve some proper ale. Fado by Hafod, on tap. Lovely pint. Bar staff are amazing and super polite. However the atmosphere in the pub is not there at all. Full of younger 'kids' obviously only there for a drug experience as previously we used to go to this pub but will not be returning in a hurry under the current owners as they obviously have different standards of what is acceptable in everyday society.
