Went in for first time today about 2pm, despite passing many times. It seemed a bit intimidating as it appears a 'drinkers pub'. However the service was great and after getting over the feeling of being watched it was great. Was a beautiful spring day with a chilly wind but the beer garden is sheltered and the rear area was a real suntrap. Thoroughly enjoyed it. No idea what it's like in the evenings or...

You better walk perfect in your shoes or you won't be let in, even if sober as I was. I had just finished work and put on a new pair of heels I was getting used to.

I also write this review on behalf of a man who was refused entry for tripping in the middle of the day when stone cold sober.
