This isn’t coffee. This is liquid evolution. One sip and I grew a full beard, even though I had just shaved. By the second sip, I suddenly knew how to change a tire, grill a steak, and explain the stock market with extreme confidence but zero accuracy.

The taste? Bold enough to slap you, smooth enough to apologize after, and just bitter enough to remind you that love doesn’t always last but coffee does. By the time I finished the cup, my posture improved, my credit score went up, my muscle mass increased and I briefly considered running for prime minister. It made me love my enemies, it brought back my childhood memories I forgot.

Yugen's is almost certainly the best coffee place in Bangor and the surrounding area. I regularly find myself making excuses to be in Bangor just so that I can pop buy and get a coffee from there. No other coffee place I have been to have had that ability to lure me back. If that's not a good sign that the coffee is top tier I don't know what is.

I have also had lunch there several times and the toasties, paninis, and cakes are great as well.

The service is also fantastic and you always feel extremely welcomed.
