Having checked on ordering if an accompaniment dish was available and then waiting nearly one hour to receive our mains, this after needing to ask to order, we were told the accompaniment wasn't available. When we pointed out we had been told it was and that after an hour of waiting it wasn't the waiter told us not to scream, we weren't, and then, by a miracle, our accompaniment appeared from the kitchen. We had been before and found the dish not available hence checking this time, also, the cheaper sauviginon blanc on the wine list is never available, yet the more expensive one always is, why not be honest and say we can only sell the expensive one and take the other off the wine list. I don't quite know how to pitch this review 🤔. I hope these people will never again have the nerve to serve up the disgraceful excuse for a meal that I was sold. I ordered two vegetable curry's and was given two small half filled containers of what amounted to curried soup along with a small portion of rice. I couldn't even contemplate eating it and thus submit to the cynical ripoff that it was. I regret not posting an image to support my complaint. We visited this restaurant for the first time recently rather than go to our usual and I have to say, I was not impressed. We had booked in advance and still had to wait for our table. Menu choice was good and food was OK but service was very, very slow. We waited an hour for our main meal to come out and it just felt that they were under staffed. There were quite a few groups in and the noise was so loud it was very hard to have a conversation with each other on our table. The restaurant needs more soft furnishings to help with this.
