A very nice pub sitting just across the road from Kenilworth Castle. Parking is in the pay and display car park adjacent to the premises but this is free for customers - just make sure you give your registration number to them to put on their system. We had cod and chips which was very tasty and a chicken, brie and bacon pie which was crammed with filling and had a really tasty side of mash and fresh veg which were perfectly cooked. The interior is lovely and staff were extremely pleasant and efficient. The reason I have dropped a star is twofold - firstly because the artisan bread appetizer came toasted. I have no idea why - it added nothing to the flavour, actually stops the bread from soaking up the balsamic oil and some were lightly burnt. Secondly the pie dish came with gravy - but only about a tablespoon of it. This is a real shame as it was delicious and more of it would really enhance the dish. My advice would be either to put more on the dish or provide it in a separate jug and allow the customer to decide how much to use. Having said all of that, this is still a very good place to eat and I would go back again.

Top notch. Five of us (reunion) were there last evening (July21st) it was incredibly busy as it was a stunning July weather evening. The majority of customers were in the garden, we ate inside. All staff were friendly and informed and Catherine our main waitress was truly excellent… even knowing the SIX FRUIT in the crumble. The rack of lamb (four chops) was very tasty… would have liked the rack to have been bigger. Quality beer 🍺 and wine. Strongly recommend 👍 Please NB Visited again on October 11th sadly disappointed as supplier problems limited availability 😳. Now four star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ . November 2022 visit, quality food good service, good ambiance 👍

Ahhh this was a great day. Me and the boys did a half marathon and came here for a big feed afterwards with some family members. There was one snag to our experience. There seemed to be this one guy that had latched on to our booking called Sean Underwood. This seemed to be a problem at first, but not only did he proceed to congratulate us on our half marathon experience, he also bought us drinks and shots!!! after sitting with us and enjoying a Sunday lunch, he had such a good time he said he was going to book the same spot for his Mother's birthday the following week! Glad we could be of influence! 5* for Q&C, 5* for Sean Underwood for a change.

Mackensie did a great job on her own on top floor. But did need another member of staff. We had to ask for more drinks our food was incorrect so had to be taken of the bill. She was so busy running around doing tables seeing to customers we had to wait longer than we would like. We would of ordered more drinks. But what food we did have was good. I have an intolerance to Cheese Mackensie checked everything with me but the kitchen still got the orders wrong missing off stuff i said i could have! Shame as it was our anniversary meal we would of happily stayed for more drinks, we were home by 8.30 pm.

Amazing setting right next to Kenilworth castle. Private car park with free parking for the queen and castle user’s (register your registration inside the restaurant). Short drive into Kenilworth town centre. Staff where really friendly and attentive. Food was great. We opted for the chateaubriand steak for 2 to share with peppercorn and beef dripping sauce, a side portion of greens and prawns with chilli and garlic. Food was faultless. Service was fast and the prices where reasonable. Great spot! Highly recommended! Definitely worth a visit if your in the area.
