We have enjoyed many occasions at the wine yard since their opening, popping in whilst out shopping in the afternoon for a quiet drink and coming on busy nights over the weekend, when there is a great buzz and atmosphere.There is a good choice of wine by the glass or bottle at different prices on the blackboard but you are also able to choose anything from the wine shop and pay a small corkage. Nick and Shirley are very friendly and hospitable and are a credit to their new business. I have bought wine on recommendation from Nick who is super knowledgable and honest, from everyday wine to pairing for a specific dish. I was walking past and it caught my eye simply because it looked inviting. Popped in and met Nick who was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and easy to deal with.
