Have returned since my original review and was delighted to see the portions are more sensible (though still generous), with the prices adjusted proportionally. Had a delicious dak gang jung and kimchi rice. Super friendly service. Think they’ve nailed it. 5 stars!

We had lunch here last week and thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s great to have a Korean in Godalming and I hope they do well!

Minor gripes - the portions were much bigger than we were expecting. It’s nice that they’re so generous, but it means they take a while to cook, and we had to take half of it back in a box. Maybe it would be nice to have some ‘quick lunch’ options as well as dinner size portions? We spent over an hour here which overshot our lunch break. We also felt the pork belly, which came with optional seasoning on the side, would have benefited from at least a little basic seasoning.

Homey is a lovely family-run Korean restaurant in Godalming. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the warm atmosphere, which fits the restaurant's name perfectly.

The menu has many traditional dishes, and everything I tried so far was delicious, I intend to go thru the whole menu! The kimchi was just right—spicy and tangy. I also loved the bibimbap, I tried the spicy seafood soup today which was delicious.

They are always willing to recommend dishes and share their love for the food they serve but equally important they always recommend great Korean Dramas, which I am huge fan!

Whether you are a fan of Korean food or trying it for the first time, Homey is a great place to visit. I am grateful to enjoy such authentic Korean flavors near my home and work!

A wonderful and clean place with a small seating area for those wishing to eat in. Having arrived at 13:00 it was filled by about 13:30. The service was slightly slow, but we had arrived just as it opened and the food was clearly prepared freshly rather than reheated so it wasn't an issue. Prices were completely reasonable and the food was of an superb quality and taste. The portion sizes are more than capable of filling you, (we had a single starter and two mains for two people.) The small space for eating limits the ability to create a vibrant atmosphere, however, the ready presentation of the food which came out sizzling certainly didn't go admist.
