Letās start with the good:
There are separate areas for different age ranges which allows smaller children to be in a separate area away from the bigger children. Adequate seating space The atmosphere is good, lighting and design is nice and they also have a nice aroma within the area.
The Bad:
There is a ramp leading up to the soft play area at the top however there is no ramp that leads down to the area below the seating area meaning that children are constantly at risk of falling down 3 steps and causing themselves injury; my son almost went down them at least 5 times had we not been so aware of the risk. There is not a lot of space to manoeuvre around the seating area meaning if your child gets a bit of a sprint on, it can be hard to follow them as there are usually numerous knee high instructions (chairs and other children usually). They have wrapped some cushioned foam around some of the block work but have not been conscious of many areas where your child could fall and hurt themselves such as exposed hardwood sheet ply pillars and other wooden frames.
The Ugly:
Ā£10.95 for a āGourmetā toastie⦠Iām sorry but there is absolutely no way on Earth I would pay over Ā£10 for some meet between two slices of bread; you can write āGourmetā after, it does not change the quality. The prices reflect the money-grabbing that is often associated with the needs of parents I.e. you need a place to take your child for them to burn off steam however will happily charge you an arm and a leg for any food or drink within. An hour wait for 2 coffees which are still yet to arrive as I write this review.
Overall, I donāt think this is the best soft play that I have been to and wouldnāt be able to recommend it whole-heartedly meaning I cannot give more...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFrom a childcare provider who has visited possibly every soft play venue in Hampshire and Surrey I highly recommend visiting Small & Mighty! Itās not your standard soft play cafe and you can clearly see the love, hard work and dedication that goes into this place, I have visited many times with different aged children from young babies to toddler. With every visit each baby/child has been provided with an exciting sensory or soft play experience which meets their needs and stage of development which Iāve often found with other soft play itās been hard to cater for a range of different ages, there is something for everyone, even when it comes to food! The sandwiches, cakes and coffee are well worth a try and the variety of ice cream flavours! Gillian and her team have provided a special place for all mums, babies and children to enjoy, the perfect place for a catch up with friends or a sensory expierence for your baby! The staff are friendly, welcoming and always on hand to help! If your looking for a modern up to date play cafe that provides for all ages I would recommend visiting here, you wonāt be...

Staring with 0 to 18 months area is small so when busy there is no space. Owner has forgotten that babies under 12 usually cannot walk yet so parents sit inside with the kids to engage them so 5 parents and kids and you don't even have space to even step around. Area can be extended to where the kids tables are.
Thats issue number 2 kids were throwing those small ship crayons or pens whatever it is into the baby area i found one in my baby mouth manage to catch her before she choke on it.. those small items should not be anywhere near the baby area. That area can be moved where the big booth is as this boot is just taking space. That will make extra space for the baby area. And make it more safe far away from those small items which should not have been in the play cafe to begin with as they are choking hazard.
The 18+ area is nice.
Sitting area is massive and bearly used as parents are just going aftet there kids do thst can be made smaller to allow more...
