Courtyard Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Wealden

I like the coffee there. Nice size cup & the choice of hot or cold milk. I've enjoyed most food there. I love toasted sandwiches. But the toasties here are never served hot. Warm & with most of the cheese melted. But not hot at all. I also had a cheese salad once. If that's what they call a salad, they need help. It was a plate of cos lettuce leaves, with a few slices of a tomato, completely covered in grated cheese. Needless to say, I Couldnt eat much of it. There was far too much cheese, far too much cos lettuce & nothing much else. No onion, radish, cucumber, not even half a tomato. And no other type of salad leaf. Petty poor show really. They need to put more effort in to their presentation too. Now I only have a coffee there. So 2 stars only. That's for the drinks. Not a place I would...

Always very clean, with good food at a fair price. During this pandemic they have taken every step to make sure that customers feel safe and comfortable. Staff are always welcoming and attentive.

Upon entry there is an automatic dispenser for hand sanitiser, and seating is arranged so that customer groups remain socially distanced from other tables at all times. The cafe is taking part in the govt's incentive scheme of half price meals up to £10 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays (I hope those are the right days!).

A nice cafe, friendly service, centrally located in Uckfield High Street.

I purchased a bacon and cheese omelette with chips and salad. The omelette was nicely cooked but the chips were a little overcooked.

The cafe seats around 40 people indoors and approx. 20 people outdoors.

The venue also has a customer toilet that was in reasonable condition.
