I recently visited the Nando's restaurant in Hatfield and was really impressed with the food options, especially for vegetarians like myself.
Nando's is known for its peri-peri style grilled chicken but they offer much more than that on the menu. For meat eaters there's the delicious chicken of course, ranging from a quarter chicken to wings, thighs and breast pieces. The chicken can be ordered in a variety of heat levels and flavors like lemon and herb, medium, hot, extra hot peri-peri and piri-piri. If chicken isn't your thing, Nando's also has really tasty burgers, ribs, pitas and salads.
But as a vegetarian, I was thrilled with the plant-based options. There was a grilled veggie burger, veggie pita, veggie stack salad, halloumi and veggie skewers and more. The veggie peri-peri rice bowl was incredibly satisfying too. It's often hard to find varied veggie choices at casual dining spots, but Nando's delivered.
The food came out fast and hot and fresh. And the service was friendly. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. I really enjoyed my meal and would highly recommend this Nando's location for both meat eaters and vegetarians alike. It's great to have a restaurant that caters so well to both tastes. Next time I'm in Hatfield, I will definitely...
Read moreMy recent Nando's experience in Hatfield was unfortunately a bit of a let-down. I ordered a chicken wrap with pineapple online, and while the flavors were there, it was absolutely drenched in sauce, making it a messy and challenging eating experience. To add to the inconvenience, my order arrived without any napkins or cutlery for the sides of chips and veg. While the server was helpful in bringing me some extra sauce, the sides themselves were cold, which was disappointing. I'm a big fan of Nando's, and I've consistently had better experiences at their London branches. They usually provide napkins and even a complimentary bottle of water with online orders, which are thoughtful touches that enhance the overall experience. I hope Nando's Hatfield takes note of these shortcomings and makes improvements to their online order service. Providing napkins and cutlery should be a standard practice, and ensuring that sides are served hot is essential. Despite this less-than-ideal experience, I remain hopeful that Nando's Hatfield will take steps to provide a more consistent and enjoyable experience for its customers...
Read moreShocking experience... After ordering around £30 worth of drinks to start our meal, our starters were brought out and drinks ignored. When asking a waiter if he could check where they were, he simply slammed two empty cups in front of us and immediately disappeared. Then nearly choked on our starters as our mains were slammed down in front of us again when we were still be only halfway through eating. Felt as though we were being rushed out of the place and the sides were barely even cooked so we probably were. I had to remind a member of staff they had forgotten yet another item on our order and the purchased drinks had still not arrived as we were just about finished eating. I’ve never been someone to complain but I felt the whole service was appalling. I’m aware Nando’s as a brand is fast food but disregarding paying customers and failing to acknowledge a paid order is a disgrace no...
