Noodle King Milton Keynes — Restaurant in West Bletchley

Really disappointed with this. We was really excited to try it as they do munch boxes and some quirky dishes for a good price. Photos and videos looked good. I am honestly quit shocked they are sending this food out and wondering if they have tried it themselves or just don’t care.

The rice wasn’t fried, stodgy. Absolutely no flavour, literally tasted like water.

Chips really greasy not crispy

Sweet and sour source the cheapest one that just disintegrates soon as you pour it on. Chicken bits just dry and not tasting fresh same with the ribs.

Chicken and plum sauce - again dry looked so unappealing - sauce not even visible.

Everything just looked and tasted cheap to be honest and had no flavour. my chowmein rice and sauce at home was 10x better and I’m not Chinese or a chef. That’s why I am surprised. Eating our should be a novelty!!!

I recommend that you perhaps try some other local Chinese takeaways such as St Mary’s as the quality and flavour is how it should be.

Sorry wouldn’t order again. :(

Last time I ordered for delivery Chicken Satay and noodles , I got noodles and something in a spicy sauce.

Today I ordered Chicken Satay and duck noodles and I got chicken Szechaun style and noodles and because it was raining cats and "ducks" , I did not check the order .

"Peanut sauce, satay sauce (saté sauce), bumbu kacang, sambal kacang, or pecel is an Indonesian sauce made from ground roasted or fried peanuts, widely used in Indonesian cuisine and many other dishes throughout the world. Your Chicken in Satay sauce is more like Szechaun or a gravy chilli sauce and it should be clarify in the menu ,like we offering a Satay sauce (peanut sauce) but instead you get a boring...

We used to order regularly when it was ‘my Chinese’ but since sold to noodle king the quality of food and service has gone down hill.

I have tried noodle king twice and on both occasions were very dissatisfied and disappointed. The crispy duck was cold, the chicken balls were undercooked, and the portions were tiny considering how expensive the menu is.

We will not be coming back for certain. We now use St Mary’s in Oxley Park. Would highly recommend.
