Edmunds Restaurant — Restaurant in West Suffolk

We went to a Thursday evening themed meal in the West Suffolk College restaurant, and had a superb meal in lovely surroundings. The Thai food was excellent from start to finish, with the main course duck with red curry worth a special mention - a delicious mix of flavours and very nicely spiced. The chocolate fondant for dessert was also a real triumph - the best I've tasted for several years. Great food by the most professional standards - but prepared by catering students, served by enthusiastic youngsters learning about the catering trade, and at extremely reasonable prices. We have been many times to their themed evenings and last night we went to the James Bond themed evening. As usual the food was superb it would not have been out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant, service was friendly and efficient. The roulette game after the meal was great fun adding a little extra to the evening. We cannot wait till our next themed evening and I am sure our friends who we took for their first visit will also...

Just had a lovely Xmas lunch here and was really impressed with the whole thing. The food was excellent as we're the students serving and if the food was cooked by students then they are going to make great chefs one day.
