The tikka masala tastes like pure coconut sugar. We asked for their spicest sauce on the side.. nothing was given and the food was not spicy in any way. It tastes more like a dessert than a meal. Couldn't make it past two bites before I gave up and threw the meal away.

Rice was decent.

Response from the owner: You ordered the mildest sweetest dish on our menu and you’re complaining it’s not spicy? 🤦🏽‍♂️

Read the review... we asked for spicy sauce on the SIDE and none was given..

We have consumed tikka masala in Korea and in America. Both were able to make a spicy version and provide additional spicy sauce on the side. Neither were sweet. This is the only time we have ever had a sweet version.

I have recently learned that this is an alteration to fit the British palate. With that said, my opinion stands. The food tasted like coconut sugar and no spicy sauce was provide. And no additional spice was incorporated into the meal to make up for the lack of a spicy sauce...

Over 2 hours for a curry when website states up to/including an hour. We accepted it would be an hour, no bother. However 2 hours and for food to arrive cold is unacceptable. We were told first time we chased that it would be 15 more minutes- 25 minutes later we checked the status of it, to be told ‘the driver is just leaving’ … we live 10 minutes from the store and it didn’t arrive for another half an hour. To say we are disappointed is an understatement. Will not be using again. Customer service was poor, we were lied to and just greeted with ‘yes?’ On the phone when calling.

Really not worth it. I know it may be busy but why state 60 mins on the phone when clearly they can’t fulfil? False hope!!

As a side note- the sag paneer is made wish cheddar and grated. The cheese and garlic Naan is chewy and flavourless. Would not...

We came to stay in the area for a weekend and decided to get a take away. We ordered a Sag paneer, which arrived with some melted cheese on top but had no paneer in the sauce! The food arrived cold and there was a distinct lack of chicken in the curries. When we phoned and spoke to the manager he told us “that it was unacceptable to complain and we were never to order from them again”. Based on this feedback we have crossed their name off the lodge “recommended” list. We understand that it is a Saturday night but the attitude of the manager was awful.
