Food is OK, nothing special, they don't serve any dessert which is surprising not to have for Indian restaurant, the reason for 1 star review is we were one hour into our dinner, and was told to hurry up and vacant table when the restaurant was empty, also we had our toodler with us eating so its real shame restaurant don't value family and bit delay and telling us such thing when you have kids eating is disrespect towards your customer, even when restaurant was empty, we have ate in so many restaurants but no one have said such things when you have kids. Sorry not be visiting ever due to this.
Update to Restaurant reply: Sorry I dont agree with this, let me clear some things, when we came in we were told to wait and then given table, nothing was told there was party (later we saw pople coming for party was upstairs not downstairs where we sitting) at 8pm, it took 20-25 min after order for food to arive to it was almost 6:45pm, hence as per above i was only one hour into restaurant we as didnt order any drink, when i asked about dessert i was told they ran out and they dont serve today something which didnt made sense, we ignore it , so please dont lie, this was exact words, also if you had table booked at 8pm you should informed us when we came first as to vacant table at 8pm ( we would have to another restaurant) or later politely that we have party in 15min please can you vacant table, none of this was done, so sorry not sure how you won award this is basic common sense when you liase with...
Read moreHad delivery twice and it's been fantastic! We're not Indian food lovers but the baby in the belly craves it and certainly approves! He said more Indian mama but Mr budget can't do it every night so I have had to ration haha. First time I called and almost shutting time but they were super nice and recommended some food for a complete novice Indian eater. The service was also fab as I told them not to knock in case they wake the toddler and I just waited for them and watched out the window. Price is reasonable, again novice Indian eater not really sure the price range but a main a rice and a naan will be just around £15 enough to qualify the local delivery. Ordered second time online and food is still great, as well as service - on the receipt was written AND highlighted DON'T KNOCK - again cos I wrote a note on the online order. Thought that was hilarious and really appreciate their personal touch. Will be making the our local Indian joint until baby...
Read moreTried this on recommendation from friends. Myself, my husband, 9 year old son and his friend went on a Monday evening and the restaurant was packed which must be rare so we thought it bodes well. We quickly found out why, fantastic service the staff were so friendly and efficient and made a fuss of the boys which they loved and lapped up. Food was served piping hot on warmed plates, great sized portions and curry was the best I've had for years. You realise how mediocre the takeaways you have had previously are when you find a great Indian restaurant liked this. Everything was fresh tasting, not greasy and nicely presented. The bill came and it was more than reasonable. Waiter offered us a drink on the house which we declined as it was getting late, he then offered a takeaway beer to take which we also declined but we felt this was a nice gesture. We will be back soon. Don't hesitate to visit if you are...
