KFC Mildenhall - The Precinct — Restaurant in West Suffolk

Terrible. Ordered a party bucket and one vegan burger. Was told there were no vegan burgers available at the time so it would be a 20 minute wait or they could put it in the microwave for 5 minutes. Thought this was odd as I believe the burgers are made from Quorn which is not usually microwaveable. Anyway, chose the microwave as was in a bit of a rush. 5 minutes later, I was told the microwave wasn't working so it would be a 20 minute wait for the oven. A little irritated at this point but fine. A further 5 minutes later and I was told that the oven was off so it would be an additional 10 minutes to heat up before the 20 minute cook time. All in all, ended up having to cancel the veggie order as the rest of the food was ready and getting cold. Veggie ended up only having a few cold beans, soggy corn and incredibly dry chips. I get that they might not get veggie orders often but if you have the poster in the window then you should be prepared for people to order. This is the worst KFC that I’ve ever encountered. We’ve tried to give these guys the benefit of the doubt but 4 or 5 orders in I have to tell it like is. This place is terrible. If they decide to take your order politely ( which is about a 60% chance) there is an 80% chance that they will get your order completely wrong, give you the wrong food to a lesser value and then blame you for not checking before you leave the premises.

Upon return of wrong orders, you can expect tepid food, clearly less then a fresh re-order (despite their claims) as your food will now be mere room temperature and verging on a cardboard like texture. As for sides- forget it! Even the simplest of orders will not be correct… my husband is northern and rightfully ordered gravy-they gave him BEANS! Sacrilege. It’s such a shame that the most local KFC to us is the most inept we’ve ever encountered… how...

Horrible service! Manager was extremely rude and short. Asked for 6 piece dark chicken and was told KFC can’t support that request. This is the third time I’ve dealt with this guy. He needs to be fired. As a chicken spot you should be able to serve chicken at the customers request no matter the type. Avoid this place! If there is a District manager that is seeing this review, this encounter was at 6 April 2021 at 6:27pm.

Returned again on April 27th at 6:25pm... same “Manager” on duty. Ordered a 10 piece and was told no. Drove 12.4 miles to Bury where they were happy to accommodate our family and friends. Pathetic service! Fire...
