I came across this cafe early one morning by accident about two months ago when I needed to stretch my legs after a long car journey and had a marvellous fried breakfast and a superb mug of tea.
Last week I was in the area again and I made a point of coming to the St. Andrew's Cafe for a full English and a mug of tea and I was not disappointed. Friendly staff, perfectly cooked food and tea to my taste all at a reasonably price!
One thing that I also appreciate is that they allow you to swap some things around on the set menus. More and more places are getting lazy and saying "no swaps". St Andrew's care about their clients and cook for the customers unlike the "no swaps" places.

I have been there for breakfast a few times, they cook everything to order. Everything is delicious, sausages, bacon, hash browns, choice of fried bread, fried potatoes, black pudding and more. Can’t beat that breakfast, even ones twice the price. The service is unbeatable as well. One time we had some visitors and 10 of us showed up for breakfast without booking (I know, rude… sorry!) we were welcomed and absolutely everything was perfect.
