Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in West Suffolk

Ordered two philly steak papadias a couple of weeks ago and what arrived had very little cheese and barely any steak, my wife contacted the haverhill branch to let them know to be confronted by very rude staff who refused to help. The supervisor told us that we had to complain to head office an that there was nothing she could or would do. So we did. A while later we received a voucher for a pizza, tried to order using the voucher for the checkout to say that the voucher had already been redeemed. We made contact again and given another voucher code. This time we tried a Philly steak pizza, thinking maybe last time was just bad luck. Nope. The majority of the pizza is thick crust, not close to enough cheese and so little meat that it may aswell not be there. Yes this was a freebie to replace the previous disaster but even now I don't feel like we have got what we paid for as both attempts have been very poor. Sad times, plenty of other pizza places. Save your money or go...

Me and my wife went to eat pizza there, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The person who served us was smoking outside, and when he came back in, I observed him carefully he did not wash his hands. He went straight to making pizzas and, at the same time, started talking loudly on the phone in his native language, showing no regard for us as customers, despite the fact that we are an elderly couple in our 80s.

When the pizza was prepared, he shouted across the place and addressed me as “brother,” which came across as very disrespectful and unprofessional. He even claimed to be the senior supervisor if that is true, then God help the customers who have to deal with such behaviour.

We did not eat the pizza at all out of fear of food poisoning or diarrhoea, given the lack of hygiene we had just witnessed. On top of that, we felt intimidated and uneasy about raising our concerns directly with him, as his attitude made us fear he might react...

Placed a delivery order at 17:01 to collect asap. Over 4hours later and we still haven’t got our delivery. Have phone up 4 times to be told they had no delivery drivers, the guy on the phone was very apologetic and tried to ring his manager multiple times (he never answered) was eventually told it’d be delivered around 8:30pm and still nothing gone 9pm. It left us trying to get dinner together for 2 small children an hour before their bedtime and left me and my husband with no dinner. If we had been forewarned about delivery issues we would have ordered elsewhere. Store can’t issue refunds and told to get one online. Nothing on the website and can’t contact anyone till the daytime tomorrow so we’re out of pocket with no food. Would give no stars if possible. Unfortunately not the first time we’ve had issues with delivery here so will 100% not...
