My wife went to have a cup of tea at wilcrost bistro cafe and was told that she could not come in as she had a dog After trying to explain he was a registered assistance dog it became clear that he did not no the law and that it was the law that any assistance dog was allowed in any restaurant He was very unhelpful and was not at all interested in having a conversation regarding this But they went in and asked at the Suffolk carvery that is right next door and they were welcomed with open arms so we all now know where to go for a cup of tea and lovely people in future

The menu is comprehensive and includes a variety of breakfast options, lunches, light meals and main meals together with various drink options. The food is always delicious and freshly cooked which ever option we have tried before. The staff are super friendly and obliging and the café is cool and relaxing inside and outside. I had the chicken grilled garlic and herb served with salad and chips and some coleslaw was so delicious really enjoyed the meal, the coleslaw I'm fussy with some I like it creamy and this was spot on creamy. The chicken grilled if you love your garlic you won't be disappointed. Soon as it was served to me could smell the garlic so good love it.
