Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Wigan

Just left this Costa and will not be returning. Worst service I have ever received at a Costa.

Super slow service, seems like chatting with coworkers is more important. Very poor organisation of duties.

Employees DO NOT pay attention to what is on the receipts prior to making coffee.

I asked for an extra hot hazelnut latte. If I didn’t mention that it’s a hazelnut to the lady making my coffee I would have received just a latte.

She just glanced over the receipt without acually reading it.

Sadly I did not check if she made it extra hot as requested.

I left the store realising the coffee is just warm and not hot.

She missed 2 important requests: Hazelnut and extra hot.

When you go to a coffee shop you are expecting to get a coffee just the way you like it. Not the case at this store

You receive a basic coffee with any special requests ignored. On top of that service is super slow so it will be a wait.

Will never visit...

Absolutely appalling service from a stroppy member of staff. I tried to break the ice by asking if she was having a bad morning and she pulled a face and nodded. A male member of staff talking openly in front of customers about an unhappy customer he'd served. Only the more senior batista came out with any credit. I returned in the afternoon and it was no better. Still a surly attitude, and within 2 seconds of saying I didnt want chocolate on my coffee, it was on there. Didnt ask for it to be remade in case she flipped. The least pleasant Costa experience...
