Iâve just made the mistake of giving Greenhalghâs another chance, and I wonât be making that error again. I popped in for a steak and ale pie, expecting a warm, hearty bite, only to be handed something stone cold. Completely inedible. What kind of bakery serves up cold pies straight from the counter?
This isnât my first disappointment here either. Previously, I felt utterly ripped off paying ÂŁ1.85 for a Pepsiâoutrageous pricing for what is essentially a corner shop soft drink. And letâs not even talk about the pasty I once bought; it was just a lump of stodge, dense, flavourless, and thoroughly unpleasant.
To top it off, the service is slow, lacking any sense of urgency or customer care. Itâs as if they know the food is subpar and are in no rush to serve it.
Lesson learnedâGreenhalghâs is all hype, no quality. I wonât be back, and Iâd strongly suggest anyone looking for a decent bakery to take their money elsewhere.
