#EDITED 26 9 19# Morris St McDonalds is like most other of the same name. Depending on the time of day it can be busy and can be quiet, same everywhere really. Usually the food is of decent standard, but thier are times where been and the food has been undercooked (fries) and items missing from the order. As this has happened more than a few times I have marked them down to 3 stars. When an order is created it produces a secondary receipt slip of which the staff go off when making the order. That's how it's supposed to work, but on occasions I have had to check the order before leaving the store and noticed missing items. Yes they have sorted this out at the time but considering we've been when it's quiet and thiers been maybe 10 cars on the carpark in total from drive throughs and people inside, you'd expect the food to be of excellent standard, this was not the case. I have travelled up and down the length and breadth of the UK and tried a lot of different stores, some better than others. As this is nearest to us, it's used a lot more and feel that it sometimes falls below a good standard. Mostly staff at Morris St are ok and can usually crack a smile. 3 out of 5 due to amount of substandard meals. If it improves then I'd give them a 4 out of 5. EDIT!!! Still terrible, but worse. Can't get the right order whether eating in or takeaway. The other time a few weeks ago a staff member was busy snogging (That thing you used to do behind the bike sheds) someone who was visiting and having their tea. Maybe ok elsewhere but when your supposed to be working. The delivery system is awful, food incorrect (You ring McDs and tell them, they say you have to get refund from delivery people....not them!) It arrives cold, same issue, ring McDs who wont entertain it and wont even give you the Delivery number. Strike this one off your list of places to visit and get orders from, best get...
Read more*UPDATED 23 4 19 * Staff usually good, however have had issues with incorrect orders, simple things missed out of an order. Staff are polite and courteous. Food wise it's just a McDonald's, quality is usually ok, not had a bad meal yet! Marked down a star as seating upstairs isn't to great for children if more than 1 family are in store. Still the same seating wise. Nice update to this review. 22/4/19 Due to the introduction of Uber deliveries we have tried this service. The 1st one went great, was quick and still very hot on arrival. This is were the Uber deliveries started to go wrong. The 2nd one, food arrived cold, burgers were barely warm. Also food was missing from the order. Further orders did not improve, our last one was awful, missing items, some of it was cold and should not have been delivered. Cannot blame the traffic as it was light and as we are not far away it should not have taken 20 mins to arrive by car, it takes that long to walk there of which we have done several times. Here comes the happy ending, so far.... I rang Morris St McDonald's and told them of this failed delivery, manager agreed it shouldn't have taken 20 mins to be delivered nor should it have arrived cold with missing items, as they have no control over deliveries, he was nice and sorted us out. As a good will token he (Shout out to Phil) gave me code to use for next time. So this week I went down after speaking to Phil on the phone and he did us proud, replaced our meal entirely, so I would like to give him a BIG THANKS for his help in sorting things for us. 4 stars changed to 5 purely on this basis as cannot...

That wos a mistake so when i got in there there where two or three people waiting for there food i order my food at 14:52 1 big mac meal i wait and wait got to 15:14 i wos sick of waiting so ask for refund because the 3 same People that were in the store when I got there had still not been served plus in store wos getting busy. I Spoke to the manager on shift and told him why i wanted refund he just said it wos a very busy time. for me they where just Concentrating on drive throw Custom and not serving in store There should of been an equal balance of service on drive throw and front of house Restaurant even on the busy times People shouldent be waiting 30 minutes and longer for a takeaway meal from McDonald's it's supposed to be fast food it's more like Restaurant waiting times for Fast food.
