Heliya Cafe Bar — Restaurant in Wirral

This is deffo the worst cafe I have EVER come across the beef dinner was hideous and looked like it was last weeks left overs from an old folks home there was more fat on the beef that actual beef and it horrendously tough and dry and the peas tasted as though they had de-frosted more than ones and my partner's breakfast was inedible the eggs were rubbery, the black pudding was almost raw and deffo been microwaved as it was more chewy than a piece of gum the bacon was undercooked massively so were the sausages and the Ulster fry and to top off the man on the phone was very rude and unbelievably arsy and tried to tell me I was lying about the food, not professional at all and how the f this place is still in business is an absolute wonder it needs putting out of its misery, would strongly advise against eating from...

I simply asked to swap the black pudding and sausage for bacon and an egg instead and they tried to charge me £5.30 instead of £4.00 for the breakfast for the equivelant number of items. I didn't see the big deal swapping out items i didn't like especially as they are equivelant in price.

They said they had to charge for extra items. I said, it isn't extra if i am simply swapping the items for items i like.

The old lady that works there was extremely ignorant, and i cancelled the order and went to a pleasant cafe with friendly staff on Woodchurch road instead, that had no issue whatsoever swapping items and didn't try to charge extra.

Please do not visit this cafe, the staff are rude, unpleasant atmosphere and they try to scam you. I would have had absolutely no problem paying extra if it...

I'd love to review the food but it arrived two hours late and I turned the driver away.

I called to check the status of the order to be advised it had left the shop. It's just over a mile away.

30 minutes later when nothing arrived I rang again. This time I spoke with a very rude man who hung up when I asked for my order to be cancelled.

I rang again and spoke with the same man. This time I asked if he was the owner/manager but he refused to confirm. He simply said 'good luck' when I asked for a refund.

Thankfully all was resolved via Hungry House and I received a full refund. What's interesting to note is that Hungry House also said the staff member was extremely unhelpful and hung up on them too.

Please don't waste your time with this cafe....
