Jade Cafe and Restaurant — Restaurant in Wirral

Food is really good and the staff are friendly though the time it takes to deliver the order is dreadful. I was told my order would be ready to collect in 25 minutes and arrived at the restaurant to collect it 30 minutes later. A full 30 minutes later, I was still waiting in the restaurant. Other customers arrived after me and received their orders before I did, including one customer who arrived a good 15-20 minutes after I did. Not quite sure what's going on. Do they not cook the food until you arrive or do they prioritise customers who place their order in the restaurant and push back phone orders? This is a working man's Chinese restaurant. If you walk into this place expecting fancy cuisine, then you're going to be disappointed. The prices reflect that as well. A go to neighborhood Cantonese Chinese restaurant. Very hard to beat in this neighborhood. They always seem to have bitter melon for ordering.
