We booked this restaurant last minute as a Christmas get together for 6 of us in the middle of December. I had heard good things about this place. We where greeted on arrival by happy friendly staff and shown to our table. Once the drinks order where in we got down to studying the menu. A great selection of dishes and desserts but not too many which is good. I went for the kofte to start, chickenburger for my main and cheesecake for dessert. This restaurant is mainly Turkish by the way. The dishes are authentic tasting, hot and fresh. What more can you ask for. The dessert was delicious too. We all had no complaints. Prices are very reasonable which is refreshing in Heswall. We will return 10/10

If I could I would leave 10 stars, food absolutely delicious, I went to dinner for my birthday and they make sure to make me feel so special with all the kindness attention that I received, we had the mixed mezze for two as started and sliced fillet and mixed kebab as a meal, everything was absolutely delightful all so fresh and tasty, so generous portions and all the meat was perfectly cooked. At the end we was to full to had a dessert but they gave us an exquisite baklava that was like a icing on the cake. Thank you so much ♡

A ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ New Favourite in Heswall!

We’re new to Heswall, and Mavi Mediterranean has instantly become our new favourite restaurant! The food is absolutely amazing — full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the kind of place where you instantly feel at home.

A special mention to the owner, who is one of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet. He’s happy to share the stories behind the many photographs on the walls, which adds such a personal and charming touch to the dining experience.

Whether you’re local or just visiting, Mavi is an absolute gem. We can’t wait to come back...

Outstanding restaurant. 5 star on every level. Lovely friendly smiling staff. Delicious food,generous portions. Turkish Red wine was very smooth. Great atmosphere. We were well served ,staff are attentive but leave you in peace. Highly recommend. The Special Mav coffee finished off a perfect evening,especially with Alis extra shot of Jamiesons
