We had the pleasure of hosting our daughters baby shower with your room hire on Sunday 12/08/24.nothing was too much trouble for the owners nick and jen.the booking of the room was done easy and terms and conditions set out clearly.i could communicate by email or whattsapp and replies were swift .the function room is above the nyx bar and grill. On the day nick and jen worked so hard to get drinks,we had drinks on arrival,prosecco and an amazing outside terrace which is the showstopper for nyx.loads of room and beautiful tables and parasols. The sun shone all day,which was an added bonus. The terrace had bifold doors which opened fully onto terrace. There was loads of room fir entertainment and we had the music facing the terrace which was superb. Loads of tables,clean toilets . You can have your own catering which was a bonus and the room has a beautiful flower Wall. We had 50 guests and there was plenty of room . We laughed,danced,played bingo ,listened to music,and where treated with upmost of service. Nick and jen worked tirelessly all day and delivered a wonderful service. I’ve just travelled from Liverpool5 for this Roast Dinner on a recommendation from a friend , I. Call myself the Roast Hunter as I’m always looking for a nice Roast Dinner on a Sunday Afternoon!!!! Well well I wasn’t disappointed I had Topside Roast Beef wichbwas suculant and tender , the roast potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and the vegetables were cooked to perfection!!! And the Gravy was delicious and very tasty.All the staff were very attentive and always checking everything was ok . Overall one of the nicest Roasts if had . Went there with my Mrs for dinner on a Friday night. We hadn't been there since it changed management to the Paradox. We had the voucher deal which was a sharing (meat) platter & 4 cocktails - £24: and what an absolute bargain it was!

The service was timely, prompt & attentive. Food was prepared well and tasted delicious, drinks were good (we had several more later) and priced fairly.

The cleanliness, temperature and décor is bang on. WC area was clean and tidy too.
