Called in for a friend’s birthday lunch in September 2025. Although our friends had been before, myself, wife and elderly mum were first-time visitors. The place was clean and very nicely laid out, and although several tables were taken there seemed a good amount of space between people and it wasn’t too loud. We were allocated an ideal table in the corner, which was appreciated. Staff were polite and attentive throughout, and we didn’t feel rushed at any point. The waitress was extremely personable, happy to answer questions on various food items and make some excellent recommendations. The menu offered a really good choice and there were several things each of us would have had. We all opted for the two-course option and I ordered the spare ribs for main (simply delicious) and then the profiterole for pudding (four well filled balls with lovely chocolate sauce). Portion sizes were good (although a little more chocolate sauce would have been nice as it was a key feature of the pudding!), ingredients were first class, and it was all very well cooked and presented. Also a couple of pints of bitter, well served and very refreshing. The overall highlight was the quality of the food and the friendly nature of the staff. Would highly recommend, and we will definitely visit again.

We had a wonderful lunch here, we sat in there sunny terrace area, this has plush garden furniture and tables and chairs . The actual definition of a sub trap. Parasols and blankets and heaters all year round for the unpredictable UK weather. The menu is diverse and very tempting . The scallops and the black pudding rosti starters were perfect and the steak n frites I ordered went down a treat! The steak was cooked perfectly and soft as butter ! Staff were incredibly friendly and service was smooth and efficient. I will be back to try some more of the dishes because I struggled to choose a main because of all the tempting dishes on offer !

Fantastic meals at 107, I had the steak and Guiness pie with creamy mash and red cabbage with an order of honey roast parsnips on the side, it was cooked to perfection. My partner had the halloumi and cashew noodles.., perfectly presented and there was halloumi in every bite. It was a last minute booking at the staff at 107 were very accomodating and really welcoming. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for great food in the area..you would not be disappointed. I would note that there is no parking on site but a few places you can park in surrounding areas and a pay and display opposite the restaurant.

Appallingly bad! Avoid at all costs!

Without doubt one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had.

From the first minute I knew it was a mistake. The table was unclean with stains and ring marks and the same can be said for the glasses in which our drinks were served - marked, scratched and long past their past.

Myself and the majority of my party ordered a roast but were NOT told that the carrots and peas were not available as they had run out. We were only informed of this when the food arrived and we questioned why we were only receiving broccoli and TWO different types of cabbage! We also did not receive any Yorkshire puddings without any explanation as to why. A half-hearted apology was offered and a suggestion of parsnips was made. We agreed to the parsnips but were charged for them. The roast potatoes looked and tasted like they’d been left under a heat bulb since the morning. The least appealing and most unsatisfying roast dinner of our lives.

All of this resulted in an incredibly disappointing evening out with my family but even more disappointing was how the complaint was handled by the manager. Apologies with no real concern for making the experience any better or properly resolving any issues with a solution. When we questioned the lack of Yorkshire puddings we were told that “we do things differently here” - a really weak and disingenuous response that proved to be a lie as we saw Yorkshire puddings being served to another table as we left.

The place looked tired and past its best, the kitchen staff and manager were unprofessional and standards were abysmally low.

We were offered a 25% discount and a monetary voucher to ‘try again’ another time. The discount only scratched the surface of a 6-person bill and the voucher certainly won’t be used.

Don’t waste your time and money here when there are plenty of excellent restaurants just...

I'm really disappointed. After all the meals we've gone out for this year. I have to reported that this was our first letdown. The food was ok apart from the main course, and we both went for the fillet. It wasn't good at all. The biggest letdown was the service. It ruined the night and this was our wedding anniversary. We had a two hour slot. The young waitresses constantly badgered us, asking if they could take the plates. They did this right through the three courses. We were not slow. They were far too quick to ask repeatedly. As I said, the food was OK. Apart from tge steaks that were not as they should have been. However, we were defeated at this point and had already given up on the night. We normally don't begrudge any final bills for the meals we go out for. But this was not great value at all. It's such a shame. My advice to the management is to invest in some training. And learn how to cook fillet steaks so they are still moist and taste as amazing as they...
