Read moreI never usually have problems with nandos delivery as i am a loyal and regular customer. However Nando’s customer service is absolutely shocking. Ordered food last night expecting my order that i paid over 40 pound for. Instead received a little bag with my receipt and some sauces and peri salt. In the bag with the food it came to my attention it was completely the wrong order. It seems Nandos may have messed the order numbers up when packing. When i raised this issue i was told to either bin the food or eat it? Bear in mind the food was poor quality and burnt. The chicken has been hard the past few times i have ordered and seems overcooked? They said they would refund me within 24 hours so i waited a day and then spoke to various members over the phone to see if they were going to resolve the issue as it had been a whole day? The lack of response and accountability is unacceptable. Was then told to wait 48 hours for a refund and that there was nothing that they could do? I sent photo evidence when emailing and heard nothing back at all. Nando's is not cheap and i don't expect to loose out on over 40 pound. The food did mostly go to waste as there was items i couldn't eat for various reasons. The ignorance i have been faced with is completely not ok and definitely will not be ordering from this restaurant again as when something goes wrong the manager seems to not take responsibility to resolve the issue ASAP. Then seated at the table by the door where all the peasants in the rain (formerly us) were huddling together for warmth like penguins, opening the door and letting the harsh Arctic Bromborough winds in and across our table every time somebody wanted to put their name down or somebody won the lottery and their table was called. We then waited an hour for food without a single apology or warning of the delays. Saturday night and they appeared to have 1 person greeting/waiting on the entire restaurant.. the rest of the staff pulled in to the kitchen to help with the backlog. The chefs unable to multi task were cooking one table at a time! So at least we could work out when they started cooking our food 45 minutes after being seated when the couple seated before us started getting their food.
