umm, not one for me unfortunately.

service was lacking,. when we arrived, despite being open, the restaurant was still getting set up ie counting coins. i don't understand why this isn't done ahead of opening. the idea is when you're open, you're ready to go straight off the mark..

during our meal there were 0 check backs, manager was sat eating his tea and had to keep getting up to serve customers, then just went back to eating. not a great impression.

as soon as we settled up our bill and left, again the manager went straight back to sitting down and eating his meal.. just really unprofessional

as soon as the waitress handed me my main, one of her hairs fell on top, no bother just pulled it off

i left most of my meal as the chicken was chewy/cheap so i just spat it out into a napkin

the green curry is 80% vegetable

there's no ambience. the only good thai restaurant on the wirral is nua thai.

so, we won't be returning to lilys thai...

To start, I had the ribs and the sharing platter for 2 and they tasted great! I shared this between me and a friend and thought this was enough but a couple more ribs would have been nice. The sharing platter comes with a great selection of different starters and is a perfect way to start.

For my main, I had the Thai green curry with chicken and coconut rice. The curry was spicey but not too bad but the taste was amazing, best I’ve had. It also went really well with the coconut rice, would recommend.

The service was quite slow but it was Friday night and completely full so can understand. The waiters were helpful and polite.

Overall, I would highly recommend this if you want a nice, well...

This has become my favourite place to eat out in Wirral. The food is freshly cooked, and really tasty. Thai food always feels clean and healthy and this is no exception- loads of veg in the veggie options and the broth gorgeous. Service is relaxed and friendly and I like the smart cafe type vibe. Just really chilled and unfussy. Also like the fact that you get a mix of customers, there’s no loud music and tables nicely spaced out. A great place for good food and a chat with friends.
