Woodhouse Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Wirral

Lovely little coffee shop in the heart of Wallasey Village, just over the road from the Lighthouse pub and on the corner of Green Lane.

With a 'specials' board outside enticing you in, along with the fully glazed frontage, I can't believe I've never been in here until today (Feb 2023) since it must have opened a year or so ago!

The moment you walk into the cafe, the first thing that strikes you is the clean and fresh feeling of the layout and presentation of the premises and food and drink being served.

Unfortunately, the colleague and I didn't have time to eat, so we just had teas and coffees, but listening to other customers thanking and tipping the staff it was clear everyone seemed impressed with the food and service, so I'm looking forward to eating here...

so - its a nice little cafe, with friendly service and nice food/drinks. if remote working, there's a notice saying you must buy an item for each hour you're there. of course, if you are actually working then getting up hourly to buy something would become a bit cumbersome and stressful. i can understand why this rule is in place, though.

the biggest issue i have with this place, is the owner parking on double yellows EVERY day infront of the building, without a disabled badge. the lack of parking encourages others to copy and it makes it difficult when pulling out of green lane, because your view is obscured by illegally parked vehicles. please park sensibly and have respect for the...

I've given this wonderful independent coffee shop five stars because they do everything right. The decor is beautiful.

The coffee good, strong and heated. Just right with great milk texture

When they started out they were just doing cakes and a few pastries and now they're moving on and doing some sandwiches and breakfast items.

I'm yet to try this but will definitely do so in future

I can see this local business becoming massively successful.

It's very reasonably priced and one you should definitely support by spending your money there. It's a value for money...
