Very disappointed with my experience as the staff are usually lovely! The man serving us today was lovely which is why I’ve gave 2 stars I ordered myself a drink via the app the barmaid had left it with other customers drinks standing on the side of the bar for 10 minutes they were just standing around chatting so I went up to ask for it I caught her looking at her Facebook showing her work colleague pictures when people were waiting for these drinks. I told her that I had made a order for table 35 I said is that my drink by any chance and then she very sarcastically said does that look like it? So I just simply said yes and she raised her voice again and said well take it then. I did make sure she knew this was not acceptable and when I went back to my table my boyfriend was calming me down but she was just looking at me for long periods of time giving out dirty looks. I hate to complain as I work in customer service myself but at the end of the day I don’t come to have food just for bad service whilst they’re too busy gossiping and looking at Facebook then to be spoke to like that. Just. No. I ordered their "specialty burger" and chips which was recommended by the waitress and it was vile. The chips were ok but the burger... I kept on getting bits of gristle in the meat and the condiments and salad were just sad. The lettice drooping, the tomato was a greyish-red colour and the mayonnaise tasted sour? I had there beer and it tasted like dirty dishwater. The service was bad and I had to wait half an hour for my relatively simple order. As i waited i was horrified to see a baby vomit all over its chair. The poor parents tried to mop it up with serviettes. I was sad to see that no staff came to assist the parents and even when a waiter walked past he just ignored thir problem. When the family left no one came to clean the table and it wasnt until I was leaving (about and hour later) that someone came to disinfect the table. It was a warm day and by that time the vomit had started to smell even more putrid than before. In the close atmosphere the snell was unbearable. One star...

Came here for the curry club and was very impressed with the service and food. Served by Karen and was looked after well. After ordering the katsu chicken I asked what the best dessert was and was recommended the chocolate fudge cake and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food for the price. It all came out hot and fast, the only draw back is that because they focus on speed of service the staff miss the opportunity to upsell. Such as if Karen would have asked me if I wanted to add a nan bread with my curry I would have gladly added it to my meal. Instead I was disappointed it didn't come with the meal as the picture promoting it shows it in the picture so I presumed it came with it. Overall a very good visit.
